Title: Old School Mountain Bike ??????
Post by: AL on March 10, 2007, 12:45 PM: I was round my mates house the other night... And noticed / Forgot he still had , his mint 1993 ?? Orange ( Clockwork) MTB.. I remember him buying it and riding it to the end of the road and back ! Before hanging on the wall in his garage...

I dont know anything about Mountain Bikes ....But One of the boys at work, has a MTB mag, with pics of a New 07 Orange (Clockwork) celebration model ... Its Orange/White , same paint scheme as my mates bike above..

So question is ....... Is there such a thing as Old School Mountain bike? And do you think a Mint 100% standard 15 year Orange with Original tyres etc , would be worth anything ::)

I still have my Cannondale from 94 in the garage and it's tricked to the max so that's just waiting for the prices to rise.

It may not be worth as much as a US Trick Star with Aerospeeds & Beartraps,to the right collector it may be though,old school MTB's are getting pretty hot lately here in the US. :shocked:

i've still got my Kona from circa 1989, it looks really cumbersome against my os bmx's,
