Went for a bit of race practice today at Braintree with Flaz and Gary (GO72)
I had my new Hutch, Flaz was on his recently purchased Laserlite and Gary was on his recently purchased Californian.
I also took my Pro Class as it was dry. :smitten:
Gotta say that all bikes were riding well. Flaz's Laserlite has to be the nicest set up bike I have ridden, everything is tight and smooth. Goes like a fecking missile. Light and stable, greatly underestimated bike.
First up, my Hutch Expert racer, now with twin pinch flights and JP pedals (this was taken at the race meet last week.
Thanks to a certain Rad member for the padset. :smitten:

You'll all have to come down to Hersden on the 9th of April. Super relaxed atmosphere and a great little track. Old school is the biggest class they run there. :daumenhoch:

Nice to see the bikes out getting raced.
It's always hard when you have invested some coin in old parts and are wary of scuffing something!
I hear you on the Laserlite thing.
I am fortunate enough to have a have a couple of nice 'rider' bikes - an 84 Hutch Pro Racer and an 83 Laserlite.
The Pro Racer is very nice to ride - forgiving, fast, predicatable.
The Laserlite seems a bit snappier - it's longer and higher in teh crank BB for a start.
Here they are:

Sweet looking rides fellas, Hope well see them at Daggers on SUN?
-
Well done chaps for getting out there and racing the Old school bikes ! :daumenhoch:
I was only thinking yesterday that it's cool to have these bikes all built up only to show once or twice a year and that we should get on them and ride the things.
Well wobble around on them eh !
