just affixing someforks to a frame and cant see how to pull the headset tight
most have a thread to pull down with bolt you can usualy take out the threaded piece
but these standard forks are thick material so the hole in steer tube is smaller than the norm any help
-
Not sure if this will be of any help Dan (as I'm probably barking up the wrong tree), but will the 'star-nut' not fit down the steerer?
Failing that you could always get a head lock or a 'wedgie' thing.

the star thing wont fit in

Someone else make's a different version of the Hope head doctor, but I can't find it now - it's called a 'wedgie' or something. I'll try and find it.

I use the Amoeba headlock on all my bikes, it just makes everything feel so much more secure.
