Title: end cap removal
Post by: Goose1 on March 14, 2007, 04:58 PM
What's the best way to pop these suckers off? I don't want to fook them as they are in really good condition, although the alloy around them is a little worn??
Many thanks,
Jason.

Ahh, ok there are a couple of holes that you can put circlip pliers into and twist anti clockwise, should work as they are threaded openings. But be warned the things can be brittle so may not survive!!!

Be careful not to push too hard as the pliers will go through the plastic. I remember using a pair of long nose pliers to do mine and pushed them through the cap!
