Title: Removing knackered allen bolts
Post by: the stag on March 16, 2007, 04:36 PM
…rescued another bike from the tip today – anyone got any ideas how to remove an allen bolt from the stem, that has worn away inside and the key is just spinning in there?

Thanks for your help

If you can get a dremel in there what about grinding out a slot to get a flat blade screwdriver into
or grind awway the entire bolt head  - i had to do that with XCii and the hex head cage bolts
