whats your thoughts on resrve prices against letting them just run and taking a chance.
i have put a reserve on one item as i was worried about it going for a song.
but i have an old loopy ripper cracked post and looptail weld should it run or low reserve your thoughts please before i list it.

about 4 years ago i put some old hotwheels redlines on ebay 50 of them in a old hotwheels ralley case now worth about £300 or more :'( then the market was just as high demand 'but i didnt put a reserve and the lot went for £55 i was gutted and never took the risk again :'( so i think a reserve is a good idea dan :daumenhoch:

i reckon you should have a minimum you want and reserve it at 10% less than that.

I wait til 10p day and / or bung it on at what the lowest price I'd like, anything over that is great, but I end up relisting alot so isn't always a succesful method. I never really start anything below what I'd be happy to accept......it becomes gambling then. Prefer BIN for most things.

Either a reserve or a starting price - I've let some stuff run before and I've been lucky and not so lucky. For example I recently let a hardly used IOmega Zip 100 drive run from 1p guess what it sold for? 1p and she picked it up too :LolLolLolLol: It was worth at least £15 which is what they usually go for ::).

ye i no what you mean mark ,i dont sell alot on the bay but somethings you can loose on big styley.
this old bike does deserve a bin and i dont mean buy it now ;D a bit brocken this poor thing and copy lg forks to boot.

Actually she gave 100% more than the winning price, only because neither of us had change from a two pence piece :LolLolLolLol:

i have never sold bmx parts on ebay, but when i do i'll use this same method.
when buying i prefer BIN especially if the postage cost is already quoted. no hassles no dramas, cost and postage is there for everyone to see, you like the price or you don't. simple.
