Title: how tweaked are your turndowns/ have you got yo lookbacks on lock down
Post by: rory on March 20, 2007, 08:57 PM: due to bigplinkys rad thread on table tops,get your look backs , turn downs and fish tails out.
get your printer sucking diesel and get some rad old/ mid/ new scans out
dirt vert or on anything
ill get the ball rolling

Post by: SaMAlex on March 21, 2007, 08:23 PM: Andy, I remember watching you doing turndowns (I think at the ramp in the 3rd pic). It was when they had first come out and you had just come back from the US. You would just ride straight up out of the ramp and the bike just kept going. Your body and bars turned 180 without the bike turning at all. Eventually the bike started coming back down, still pointing straight up, and kind of did a reverse 3 point turn as it fell! So so good!

Dont mess with the 80s!!!

The bowl isn't actually full of water, it was raining and the bottom was just really smooth and slick. This is in France just off of the highway, we were driving toward Paris from my grandmothers house and I saw a guy on a bike do an air. I begged my dad to stop and he did, we found the bowl off of a side street and my parents dropped my brother and I off for about three hours before coming back to pick us up.

I wish pocket airs had been invented by then cause this place was perfect for them, three sided bowl with a nice roll in.

He had that Streetbeat when he started to ride the halfpipe in Rosyth..(Framey rode there a bit as well at times) must have been 86ish.....which he swapped for a blue and grey one with my mate (not telling him the white/purple one had cracked behind the seat tube :LolLolLolLol:

Does anyone have the scan of Scotts turndown at the Trumpton jam that was in Action Bike..some rad pics of Lee Reynolds, Jason Ellis ...and a pic of Scot doing a super clicked turndown..i have the mag but no scanner.

I shit myself cos it clicked over 180 deg and I struggled to get the bars back round.
