Described as NOS (New Old Stock) but they look to be current Tuffs , is there a way of dating recent ones ?

Old Stock is as it says , not recent stock ???

these are the new new type. if they are sealed they aint that old, the blues where made last year i think.

the old ones didnt have sealed hubs....they are the re-run blues done last year

on the older plastic hub tuffs thete is a kite mark (or something) on the spokes and on the newer ones its on the rim, or is it the other way round :-\

Yep, definately the new ones made last year.
I had some of them on that Haro I built, the blue is perfect...but Pete has got them now for a rider...

they be new and not that cheap !
you can decent pair of metal hubbed ones for that, the sealed Tuff's do run smoothly though, a must for a rider IMO....
It would be very interesting to know the dates that each type of Skyway were introduced, starting with the Tuff 1's

i had plack hub front and back from late 80's.
non sealed bearings though.

tuff I,s first produced in 1974
