I think that's really naughty, can you report them to eBay?
-
I wonder what would happen if you won them at 99p and then you said youd go and pick them up?

They do it to save on ebay fees on the final selling price, as you don't have to pay them on postage...
-
fecker
Q: Could I arrange to come pick these up if I bid and win please? 27-Mar-07
A: sorry no collections the postage cost guarantees my required selling price No Less Than £125.00. thanks
:knuppel2:
some one report it
-
You go through the safety centre and click on the links to complain about excessive postage. It's there in b&w now, he's stated he's done this to get his price and that's a big no-no in ebay rules....
-
Copy the item number and go to here:
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/listing-shipping.html
Then click on 'Report' at bottom of all the text >:D

Craig you know thats just horse doo-doo and you are merely trying to stir up trouble again :yahoo_silent:
I want £150 plus for mine :daumenhoch:
-
that listing should be removed again soon, gonna cost matey lots in 99p listings if he persists >:D user id buttsbikeshop if anyone would like to add to their blocked list ;)
-
Numpty, why don't he just put a reserve on them and pay it like everyone else has to, twat :yahoo_silent:
-
just sent him this question
have you spelt "royal mail" correctly? surely it should read "royal male" and id expect it to be prince charles delivering them in person at that price!
-
if someone can get the full address, i'll happily go round to take a look ;)
:knuppel2: :knuppel2: :2gunsfiring_v1: :2gunsfiring_v1:
-
nice idea
not.
you will be paypal/ebay protected for the selling cost not the postage.(or not, i don't use the bay much)
-
In my opinion MX900/1000's should only be used with tech 2/3 levers, tech 4's don't strike me as era correct, am i wrong or just anal?
......and i do think he's a tw@t with the misleading, cheapskate ad!
-
I still think it's naughty and not very sporting ;)
-
I'm tempted to buy them, then not pay for them because of the unfair postage costs and go though ebay - he won't get his listing fee or final value fee back because he's breaking the rules. Sure, I won't get the brakes, but I don't want them :2funny:
......but I can't be arsed :LolLolLolLol:
-
The blokes a tw@t.
Set yerself a starting price or a reserve price. That way people will actually bid on it if they want it and not think what a knob.
What does happen though if you did win it at 99p and told him you didn't have paypal and that you'd post him a cheque. Then you'd have his address. Then go around there and tell him you decided to pick them up in person to save on postage.

gone again
will he back later today ?
