i have a black rim and when the brake rubs against it the annodised paint rubs away.anyone got tips 2 stop this happening.
-
i take the ano off :daumenhoch: better braking :daumenhoch:
-
dont use your brakes >:D
no mate not much you can do about this.
-
I'm with Zed on this one. Let it all come off. Your braking will improve and i reckon anything you use to try and stop it peeling will impede your stopping power. :)

or if you really need black rims DURALECTRA is the other thing i've heard of its as good as chrome apparently
-
and dont what ever you do sand it off as ure brake will never work properly again

like big rhys said.
i done this to my back wheel after he mentioned it ages ago.
sanded all the black off and knackered the wheel right up.
mine never did work right after that.
2 new sets of brake pads the lot.
just let it wear on its own.

or use the old trials riders trick of coke (drink not class A) on rim or rd tar
