Title: clear coat over decals ?

soon im going to respray the ripper ,and was wondering if its ok to clear coat over the decals ,as they are rub on and i thought this might help with them peeling ? thanks for any help guys  :daumenhoch: will this discolour the decal's  :daumenhoch:

we do it with cars and its ok

Might be worth leaving it a bit for the solvents to come out of the fresh paint, putting on the stickers and then puffing over with another coat of lacquer.

I'm doing Yamaha R1 Blue on my Quad over the easter holidays and I was going to leave it a week for the stickers.

I might just be over cautious though as the blue is a 3 stage paint and I don't want to mess it up by being hasty.
