Title: MY SECOND BUILD- 85 CHROME HARO FST
Post by: munners on April 10, 2007, 12:46 PM
Hi all,

I fancied a bike to ride around on this summer so i decided to build this. Its a rare chrome  85 Haro FST. The frame is in excellent condition for a survivor. I spent all weekend polishing the life out of it!  It rides like a dream. My eldest boy took it out yesterday and he loved it, so i guess its his for the summer now!

Cheers lads!

Tell me if im being silly (ive only been back into bmx for 3 months) but are you referring to the frame being small which is why you call it a pit bike or is 'pit bike' a term for a kids bike? :uglystupid2:

I have checked the size and its the same size as my TA's and its got 20'' tuffs on. I thought pits have 16''??  My boy is massive for his age though. He is only just 7.

Munners,

It is the pic with your lad on makes the bike look like a pit (ie 16 inch wheels). Same bike as in the first pic just looks loads smaller.

Crikey Munners, that's a 20 inch one  :-[  No offence but your lad looks about 6 to 8 years old and about 5 ft tall then  :LolLolLolLol:.  With those CW bars I thought it was a pit bike, in other words a 16 inch one  :-[  Sorry about that  :-[  ;)
