Title: Practice day for the old school
Post by: RATTY on April 15, 2007, 06:01 PM: Well I never got a pass for Dans shindig :-[, so it was off to the home of badbmx at Daggers for some gate practice.

There was about 10 old school who turned up and we had a great day just burning round and chatting, as the day went on the gating was getting very close to good, infact a couple were spot on.

Cult sponsored rider Grant was there today and he was teaching a few moves to us old gits including manualing and pumping.

Nikki Webb an old school national number 1 lady turned up with her two little guys and showed a lot of style on the track, great to see you Nik.

Then just as we were about to wrap up, we had a visit from the one and only superbike Dan and Billy BMX. Im glad you made it you two, it was a pleasure to see you both, and to see Dan jumping on a bike for the first time in a long time...And Billy, you are soooo smooooth.

Great Day had by all, we should be having a regular Saturday practice soon, I will keep you posted :daumenhoch:

Post by: Humps00 on April 16, 2007, 07:51 PM: You're getting the bug again aren't you Nikki. How about joining in the Summer Series fun at Hersden on 29th. Joshua & Emmanual will love the track too as it's so young-and-old-rider-friendly (not that you exactly fit into either category ;)). Humps

Defo got the bug, loved it at Daggers, so much fun, i was more excited than the boys!!

Going to MK this weekend but not racing that one, prob do Hersden and see from there, gotta work on my snap before i go public 8)

Used to love the formula racing and mixin it with the boys, remember putting one guy over a berm and his dad gettin well sressed out and chasing me over the finish line, proper laugh!!! :2funny:
