Title: guess who saw Joe Kid last night?
Post by: tricknuts on October 23, 2005, 07:53 AM
Yep. Lucky me. I was close enough to see the North cal showing last night. Great  film.  Plenty old school footage, and stars. Quite a few nasty bails also.  Hope it makes it to the UK soon.

I heard its a bit dissapointing cos they skip the 80s very quick
and thats the era we all grew up with, hope its wrong.

well, I suppose there was a lot to cram in. I thought there was too much racing history from the 70's, but maybe thats just me.  They did show some of the classic "pointless" tricks such as having the bike upside down on the bars and seat, and walking over the thing etc. The stupid trick era. I agree they could have had more freestyle in it, but I guess they had to edit it to be the usual 1.5 hour format. Still worth watching tho
