Im sure they were late 80's performers.
I know chrome was a definate, im guessing also yellow and white because thats what ive seen
-
yes moza thats right, those are later colours, if its a specific era corrct build your after miggs then those are not correct,
but then again i used to get my frames and forks powder coated at superbikes in ilford way back in 83 84 whatever colour i fancied i had a lovely baby blue redline back then,
and i'm not an expert on gt so i dont know 84 factory colours
-
They were only white, yellow and chrome (I think chrome only to start with), then dayglo madness struck

Nice find dude...it a December 1984 F&F.
Like a few have said, they only did white, yellow and chrome for the 84.
-
argh decisions decisions i have got to do a haro which is green so will use the green tuffs on that
yellow or white i dont know if my brain can handle it
-
is it white under under the green ? if it is then that is the true original, you could do it with black tuffs and white tyres like fiola's,
have a look in the museum, theres a couple of white ones in there with tuff's + spokes the one with spokes looks very nice as well white hubs the lot :smitten:
-
white...white...white...you know it makes sense...

best bet is sell the haro as they are crap anyway, GT rule ask rombloke he is a closet GT lover

and i cant wait for my performer jr to arrive :coolsmiley:
-
well that has made my mind up and why o why did i get rid of the white tuffs
better get a wanted post going lol
o and just out of interest how much do the mini performers go for??? as i have never ever seem them
will post pics as she gets restored ;)
-
there has been a few performer jr's on us ebay but practically all ( out of 8 that i tried for ) had refused to post to england and the one that said he would insisted shipping would be $300 for a frame forks and bars set, so that was a no no as i've imported two frame sets together for under $100 in the past,
finally got one one though, frame & forks + shipping $140 = £75, although one that refused to post to me sold his complete performer jr for $153 so if your after one keep your eyes peeled ;)
-
i sold one to stevep a while ago and think he was trying to get rid of it
