I'm looking for some pics of Mark 'Sid' Salisbury's Quadangle...does anyone have anything? The baby blue one with brown forks...I think they even produced it as a factory limited edition?
Cheers in advance!

I took this pic at some show or other in the 80s. I've put it up before in a thread, but I might as well do it again. :coolsmiley:

was it sid who had that sequence doing a massive jump off the back of a burm over some kids kneeling down? He jumped over them, and just kept going up and up, and ended up landing way past them, to flat, obviously.

Yep, I think I remember that he was getting massive air out of the 3rd berm at Braintree - that was one good berm for jumping :daumenhoch:

I suppose my back is testiment to the fact that they didn't!
I did a demo with the Raleigh team at Tamworth in 1985, and Sam Woods at the end of the demo had me jumping off the big curved kick-turn ramp...it was a big high ramp, so I suppose by the time you jump off it it must have easily been 8-9ft straight down on to flat!
I used to do a lot of ramp jumping, I still have a video of me jumping of my kick turn ramp in my back garden...I must get that off VHS sometime and post it up here...

Hey Ratty - I've got almost exactly the same picture. Hayes National (84?) - must've been stood next to you. Spent most of the afternoon in the hospital after my brother crashed at the infamous "coffin" speed rampo in the first corner.
