Are ti Frames good?, obviously it is light as fook but is it strong
What should I be looking at parting with for such an Item?

-
looks really good, very nice welds, do you know it's actual weight

Doh, I will email him, probably be tomorra for an answer but it was like it wasn't there when I lifted it up, He designed it himself as part of a range, he sell's built up ti roadbikes and mtb's with frames from the same factory in Russia apparently, 12 week lead time tho due to demand for ti ( due to middle aged men being obsessed with ti bmx bits :LolLolLolLol: )

I've heard of Global mountain bike frames and they always get good reviews because they're cheap compared to other Ti made frames.
How much did he want for it. As he makes them could he do a 1" hedset and caliper brake hole as well, that way it would be legal for old school. :daumenhoch:
-
cool, looks a good frame, as he makes them would he put the brake mounts on the top so you could run a small sprocket, would he do gyro tabs too :)
-
must be as strong as steel but lighter :daumenhoch: very nice welds ,and its not easy welding titanium
-
How much are they going for mate???? Me likes!!! me likes alot!!!! :daumenhoch:
-
i bet mega bucks ti is realy expensive :'(
-
Ok, guide price was £900 with a 12 week wait and as for custom builds like 1" head and girotabs I'm guessing at a pricehike.
I think its expensive hence me posting and asking for opinions on worth, that said how much can you spend on ti bits if you set your mind to it

i had a ti airborn racing bike a few years back ,it was nice ,but i dont think worth the money ,steel is the real deal good old 4130 :daumenhoch:

Yeah i'd agree with you Paul.....in fact i was thinking of selling my Giant AC2 full susser and getting a steel Hard tail but they don't have Disc brake lugs
