Title: New school chainwheel on Old School cranks
Post by: deckfourtyfour on October 25, 2005, 10:12 AM
Guess this is a basic question, but wouldn't mind a bit of expert help:

Can I fit a new school chainwheel (say a Profile Imperial) to my set of Redline Proline cranks?
Will I need any additional parts to make it fit, or are they not compatible?

Any advice in this dept would be appreciated.

Are prolines not New School?

Biagio sells Spacers to make em fit. think they are a deep sea diver a shot.

you'll have to file the inner shoulder of the support ring/spacer
