Title: National Bike Show NEC 2007

Didn't realise this was on until I heard about it last night on the Radio. Here's a link if anyone interested, 28th, 29th April at the NEC B'ham.....prices seem a bit steep though...£18.50 per adult!

i've been a few time going back a few years ago mate...........not that great to be honest (but that's just my oppinion) if you're after a MTB bargain or two then maybe....but mainly full of kids buying cheap crap tyres  :LolLolLolLol:

Although the live diplays are good to see......liked the Vert ramp sessions and the 4X racing was good.

I'm put off the price to be honest, suppose it would good if some old skool rides turned up though, show em what it's all about 8)

Price is a definate turn off then you will probley get done for £6 to park your car at the nec as well :rant:

There used to be a full on BMX demo organised by the seventies crew at the bike show every year. Loads of top US riders would come over. Eventually the seventies guys thought they might as well just do it themselves, away from all the other cycle stuff that is there so they revived the Backyard Jam that is still going now. I think someone else still does a BMX demo and its still quite good. Ive not been for a few years so Im not sure.

My fondest memory of the ones I went to. :2funny:

Uncle Buck is organising a no clips bmx race I believe, UK Elite top 16 invited + a hand full of junior men with some 19+ and some foreign tallent coming over. :coolsmiley:

I'm put off by the price and aformemetioned children of the orange tyre.......

was good a few years back but dont think there is to much bmx going on this year. last time i went got to see bestwick on vert  ;)

got a pair of tickets,

would consider swapping for something fancy or the cold stuff.

Can meet you at new street station.

otherwise im going to go and endup buying dodgy tires too.....
