the pro version has a old type lock nut but this hasnt

i've got a dynotron on my mid redline. it's got lttle rubber dirt seals on the cups and normal bearings.
that's a nice headset there. first time i've seen one with needles, but then i've lived under a rock for a while with bmx advancement anyway :LolLolLolLol:

yep mine has the rubber seals too and is now polished lol

I had a couple of them a while back - be careful as some of these purple odyssey headsets same in a strange size, actually slightly smaller diameter than 1" [the kind that some road bikes use]
They also came with shims [like the silver piece in the middle of yours in the picture] to fit to bigger frames, but i ended up wrecking both my headsets trying to fit em. :knuppel2:
Some of them did come in 1" , so dont fret... should be ok. I gave the purple headlock to dingo when i sold him a frame - good to know its still being used!!!!!!!

yeah fitted me frame ok
and used the shim thing as the forks are a tad long lol
