Why not make people pay a set amount to be able to post items for sale (perhaps jumble sale bit to start with?) because this will stop people who have only been members for 20 minutes or so putting stuff up.
Or a minimum post would regulate it also.
Just seems a bit open to abuse at the moment :)

I agree.

that sounds good until they want to post something ive been waiting 6 months for then id strangle a dodo bird to get at it

We have thought about doing something like this, but as we have funds at the moment which have already been donated we`d probably use that up first :daumenhoch:

I was thinking it would stop all the stuff thats going on in for sale, wanted and jumble sale and stop people signing in using different user names to just seemingly flog stuff and take the ****
Having a verifying address thing would also be good for that

just make it a paid member option. if too much money comes in, then send it too me and i will spend it on beer.

Errrr...... if the extra money goes to beer, then i believe i'm nearer the front of the queue.....
i had to post this, just in case the donations do go to beer.... ???

A minimum time on the site would seem more fair, I remember a certain shapeshifter that posted an average of 50 times per day on one of his return visits :LolLolLolLol: , so a minimum post requirement would be open to abuse in itself
Just a thought, but also a fee would be good, as it will stop alot of the problems in the for sale section, though it may also point people back to ebay, either way job done :daumenhoch:
