Title: frame and fork id please

not sure it could be pos but need to no if pos.as i dont recognise what it is.

If it was a dirt bike the frame number (on the rear dropout) would be
SMDBXXXX

and if it was a Holmes it would be
SMXLXXXX

with the Xs being numbers.

Also, the dropouts are the wrong shape and it looks like there is a fold in the chainstay for chainring clearance, with I dont think S&Ms ever had.

machined head tube? if so i doubt its A POS. could be a patterson. dont be fooled by the freestyle bits.  :)

Sorry, I messed up. I was a bit quick on typing, slow in thinking. It should be:

Dirtbike:
SMDXXXX

Holmes it would be
HXLXXXX

with the Xs being numbers.

Im not sure what the numbers mean, I think they were just in order. The lower the number, the earlier the frame.
