Thanks for the quick replies guys, although don't get too excited, I don't own it and may never.
The guy at work reckons his son wants to keep it for "sentimental reasons", although he can't be that sentimental about it as it has been languishing in a garage for about 15 years getting to the state it is in now.
Even if I could buy it from him I would probably need to sell it on as I don't have the funds to spend on doing it proper justice. He says he has got cream mag wheels for it in his garage, so I'm guessing he has a pair of dirty faded white tuffs as well.
Anyway, I'll keep you updated whatever.

Hi
I logged in earlier and saw this and it's now on the list - that's two this week!
Nice Find - (One more and that's 50 Survivors).
It's the 16th Oldest known to exist and also has some very nice bits.
Looks like original forks, no cracks at the gusset, brake bridge is not squashed and Vector Bars, Sharp BB, Black MX1000's, Skyway Pro Pads.
Have you scene it in the flesh? Any other nice bits with it (wheels etc)? What is the post, seat, clamp, crank etc?
Can you find out any history - where it was bought, original owner, did it do any freestyle comps etc - any help is appreciated.
Thanks
J.

Yep, I took the pics myself when he brought it into work on Monday, I haven't seen the wheels but they sound like old white skyways to me.
Seatpost has a HARO sticker on it but don't know what it is. Crank is a Sugino 1pc as far as I can remember, the seatclamp is the Dia-Compe hinged kind.
I was told it was bought for 400 quid from a shop somewhere near Barkingside, Essex, the current owner is the second owner. Thats all I know.
If he hasn't taken it home when I get into the yard tomorrow I'll take more detailed pics and post them.

Any advice on a fair price to offer the guy (considering that I believe he has a pair of white flanged skyways for it at home)
Many Thanks..........Adam
