Title: Tuf Neck Stem Help.
Post by: ligbee on May 04, 2007, 09:44 PM
I've just bought a bike with a Tuf Neck stem on and am having trouble removing it. It has a quill bolt which I've removed and tightens up on what looks like a 23/24 mm a/f hexagonal bolt head, does this want removing before the stem will come away?.

Cheers

No just undo the small bolt & you may have to give it a tap with a soft faced hammer to loosen the wedge.
If it has been in there for a long while, spray something like WD40 down the stem shaft.
