Title: SR cranks well stuck !!

hi chaps,

i'm having some trouble removing a set of SR 3 piece cranks, there well stuck but i dont want to damage them,

any ideas?

Bearing pullers - if you know someone likely to have a set :-\

yeah i thought there might be some kind of removal tool, but i would like to remove them tonight

i have tried the 2x1 + mallet, but the timber keeps shatering which ive never had before,

cool there is a halfords local to me, around what sort of money was it moza

Take the bike with you and get Halfords to remove it for you  :daumenhoch:

They do mate, all Halfords now have a "Bikehut" section which has a workshop.

hot water on crank arm
then tap with wood

i use a shimano one key crank puller thingy, unless the spindle has a threded sticky out bit, then i just get pissed off and take it to my dealer :LolLolLolLol:

hot water will work
as the arm will expand
and pop off lol
