anyone got any of the Johnny Chopper repro frames or other stuff ???

was looking at this 24" Quad 'JC' Repro F&F, different i guess, but what is his stuff like ? Quality -wise ??

i was gonna have a go on it but didnt wanna spend almost 500 on a frame and forks lol

he's a nice bloke, very efficient and does some good stuff

hmm, looking at that oddangle frameset, it was probably a steal at 203 quid???

i think the guy has replicated a lot of stuff with his own touch to it... 8)

it would seem undoubtedly talented, but does get a huge amount of stick over the pond for reproducing bars and forks etc.

aaah the yanks bag anything that's not from there. i havn't bought a frame off him but heaps of other stuff. he's one of the best on ebay and he's an Aussie...............what more is there to say  :LolLolLolLol:

This is an old chestnut, he does clearly mark his stuff as repro's but some think not clearly enough  ::). The over pond stick is because "they" think only "they" should be allowed to repop/repro stuff and someone else doing it is a no no  ::).

I know Marty, gets on my tits at times all the bitchin that goes on. Not like the repro aerospeeds that is just wrong.

I got some Johnny Chopper cruiser bars, KOS styley and they are great.

Not only that he's a cool guy to deal with :4_17_5:

i've delt with gary quite a few times myself.
never had any probs.
his stuff is spot on.
