Finished building this but I am considering selling it to fund new parts for my new school ride.

Had a discussion last night at the Charlton ramp with Superfly and Meddle but cant make up my mind.

Should I keep it knowing I will never ride it - and let it gather dust.

or

Sell it to fund parts for my new school bike which I ride and which needs some upgrading?

If I sell it I want it to go as a complete bike. Any idea what it might go for as I have no idea of prices.

Cheers

Bob

Personally, I don't do the show bikes thing. All 3 of my bikes are riders, that's what they were made for. Besides, I haven't the space to keep large unused items in pristine condition.
In your position I'd sell it and get some riding done; either on a non-show StreetBeat or a modern setup.

I agree with that. All my bikes are riders too, including my Gen 1. Sell it.

I like the wheels. If you do split I'd be interested in them.  :daumenhoch:

If you don't love. Sell it.

Certainly don't use those wheels!

I'd be interested in the seat and brakes!

Nice bike!  they ride really well too!

If you do go down the sell it route, then you'll get much more if you part it out......but i'd say you'll probably get about £150 complete?  could be wrong though??

what would you get with that for your newie?  is it worth selling it for the sake of a new crank? or some forks and bars?

Keep it and thrash it to within an inch of it's life!!!  i ride mine and it's nice!  :daumenhoch:

Strip it and sell it Bob, you'll get lots more for it than if you let it go complete.
