CAn anyone tell me the size of a SX pedal and the size of a DX pedal
-
Actual measurements? No. I could measure a DX for you tomorrow. An SX pedal feels like a typical oldschool pedal under your foot, whereas a DX just feels about right, providing an entirely bigger platform for you to stand on. It's not a huge difference on the tape measure, but enough to notice :)
-
Couldn't have put it better myself
Nice description ;)
-
Ayethankyou!! :D
-
that description should be but on the box. thats if there were any boxes to put it on.
-
Hi,
been told that SX and DX pedals are the same width (i.e. axle same length) but the DX's are slightly longer
Still would like actual measurements
-
Yeah, that's right. I just wouldn't have described it quite like that.... ;)
I have a DX in front of me: it measures 100mm wide and 90mm long give or take a couple of mm.
The length is taken as the platform you actually stand on, rather than the parallagram overall ;)
Just out of interest, why are you curious as to the size?
-
size matters.
-
becasue i would prefere blue pedals but the haro fusion DX type pedals are silver, and i was worried that he SX pedals would be too small for my feet
-
i could do with a couple of good DX plastic end caps if anybodys got a couple ?.

lol

Dave - Fuzzynod (Mark) has had some metal DX end-caps enginered...they are spot on lovely...drop him a PM...
-
stodgy, who is that in your picture, those tits are gorgeous
-
I don't know if anyone else did this but when our plastic caps of our DX's were knackered, or even before that, we'd flip them out and replace them with a two pence piece, which fits perfectly into the end of the pedal. I was even going to do that to my SX's (i'm too tight to shell out on the real thing) just for old times sake.

It says everything about the design that we are still using them 25 years on,some things just feel right. ;D
