bottom of the table... whatta joke

Sorry for being so thick but as this is only my third ever race im a bit confused about the points scoring . Humps did try to explain and i did understand about the semis to see if you were in the A or B final, and what points you get for that . The thing is whats the motos for is that just for practice . :idiot2: If so im a bit gutted as i got a 1st and two 3rds in them and a second in the semis . So the question is does it not matter how far back you come in the motos as long as you do well in the semis to make sure you get an A final . :4_17_5:
-
Hi Mark, It is worked out on the winner of the A final down, Ie; if you win the A final you get the maximum of 50 points.
The motos decide who should make the final. Ie on a meeting with 16 riders you would have 3 motos with the best 8 going to the A final and the rest to the B final, different clubs and regions do it differently but essentially the same. You should aim to be in the top half of your races to Qualify for the A final
-
And the points are awarded from first place 50 points. backwards, with 30 riders in the series everyone scores some points just for being there :daumenhoch:
50 points 1st
47 points 2nd
44 points 3rd
41 points 4th
etc

Mark, BITD when I use to be half decent, my old man would get me to practise balancing against a wall for hours at a time, he said "if Sam Jarvis can do it at 4years old, then so can you" I personally find it easier to balance while sitting down then once I hear the voice on the gate I stand up, it works for me fella :daumenhoch:

Marky you need one of these mate ....... 8) 8) 8) 8) :coolsmiley: :coolsmiley: :coolsmiley: :coolsmiley: :coolsmiley: :coolsmiley: ;)

I've already got a Stumpy Gate and can balance and snap off that but get me near a real one with others around and ...... !! I need to get along to a training session too but have certain demands on my time that say that one days' racing/riding a weekend is quite enough - hence my Hersden dilemna elsewhere. Humps
-
Where did you get the practice gate from?
-
I think it was Xtremepervert who wanted to know who won so here's the outtake from the East Anglia computer (http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/v731/Humps00/OSSSR4_Results.jpg) Enjoy. Humps

Oi, oi, I've just read these libellous remarks!! I'll have you know I've only been wearing the fishnets since 'her indoors' found them in the glovebox and I convinced her they're special protective gear for BMX racers. :D You don't really think we ride our bikes over Dartford Heath do you?? ;) Humps
-
I recon i could make one of them gates in a couple of hours . Russ as you pull back does the gate drop down. Feel tired now just been out on the leary for a ride . ;)
