Does anyone know what's the difference between 2nd and 3rd generation quadangles? Would i be right in thinking 3rd gen is made from cromo instead of reynolds? And that the 3rd gen has a rounded brake bridge instead of the plate? Anything else? :)

ill be right back :daumenhoch:

I don't think there's any way to tell the difference between the chro-mo and the 531

so is there reynolds and cromo ones with the rounded brake bridge? i thought the reynolds ones all had the plate bridge...

also the angles are looking a bit different to me ???
oh now i've found pics it's pretty obvious how different they are..
i think the 3rd gen is nicer :smitten:
if anyone has more info would like to hear it :daumenhoch:

any one got one for sale i would like lol

I prefer the look of 2nd gen, a bit tidier between seaot mast and top tube.
What colour is that pic supposed to be looks almost pro-class smokey!

2nd Gen all the way, much prefer it...

to add to the confusion the first few 2nd gen quads were chromo then they went to Reynolds.
before going back to chromo for the 3rd gen
early chromo 2nd gens are rare.
i have one ;D ;D ;D
