Finally, after 20 years, I got round to doing up my master.
The only new parts are the Brakes, seat and tyres. All the rest are from bitd.......oh and the stickers.

they look good well done on the oldy the new one looks very good to for a new school bike
-
I think I might even prefer the New, which is unusual for me, but it works really well. Nice!
-
Just found a photo of it back in 85'...

I like the old for looks Sean, but I know the new rides better ;)
-
Damn right Billy.... :). The DX pedals have been in daily use for 20 years.... I took them of the Master and used them on my mountain bike. Only swapped them back just recently.. ;D

Is that a mirra 540 with custom paint or one of those Haro signature jobbies? either way it looks tops 8)
-
Cheers muttley........It's a mirra 540 I sprayed white and then added the stickers.

Steve

Andy & Dango.....Blahhhhhhhh.
I'm taking geth with me tomorrow, shame you cant go.
Steve...are you going??
Looking back at the photo , It cant be 85' cos I've got a flight crank on it which i bought when I started work in 86'.
The nice thing about that build is that it's 80/90% original and not NOS.
Makes you feel warm and fuzzy looking at....well it does to me. Maybe not you lot.... ;D
-
Sean , your 85 from bitd is something special mate , I wish i had my ride from back then ,not many do , thats a great bike you have there ......
-
Saw one of those "signature jobbies" at Bones tonight...I really like 'em! 8)
-
KuSam..... That was no "signature jobbie". That was me on my painted mirra. Looks the same but was a 1/4 of the price.
-
Was it! I mentioned it to Motomag....thought it was the one you had made up and he said is it that one or is it one of the new ones....didn't know you were going, so presumed it was a newie......lovely bike.....was watching it a lot!
-
That's why we should all have name tags. It makes it easier to go up and talk to folks. who was motomag?
-
Motomag was the guy in denim and glasses who wasn't riding due to rib injury. Yeah, name tags would be good...although, having said that.....having to ask someone who they were meant you actually got talking to them anyway ;D
-
ah...your not the shy and retiring type like me then... :)
-
Jonnie, the lad who was there with me and geth tonight. We got talking and were thinking of doing a simalar project with his. were going to paint it red and put some FST stickers on it just like his bike bitd.
-
Nice one Sean - they both look the nutts mate. Can't beat a Haro in white. :)
-
