Well this one started out as a NOS Frame and Fork series, so I built it up with using pro parts from 98/99 and the key Hoffman EK bits:
Oh, and a big thank you to Dordymush for letting me rape his bike at Epic for those grips!! Thanks mate. :daumenhoch:

Yep 1999 they came out...in silver, black, annodised blue and annodised red! Bloody lovely.
-
Oh, how i'd love an annodised blue set for that!
-
get yours anno'd then.
-
Good point, well made. :)
I'd just need to see if I could get the steel pedal inserts out, then that might be a go-er!
-
just send them for anodising .... that would get the steel inserts out. You might not be able to use them again tho.
If you do get them out, I can probably get them done blue for ya

:LolLolLolLol: :'( its kinda sad :-\ but understandable :4_17_5:
-
It is sad, not what the maker intended...but must admit, you'd need to be built like a brick shite house to lift the fecker!
-
I know Im not really a Hoffman bikes fan, but with all joking aside, did anyone actually ride a Hoffman EK?

The original horse wrestler himself 'Mad Pat' rode one to death on the hallowed concrete at ROM.
-
Loving that EK Dave 8). Gotta be the Hoffman to have. Much nicer in white than blue. Have you riden it yet?
-
Not gonna ride it...far too minty...and far too heavy!!! I don't know how the feck Pat used to run one of them!
-
pat still rides it from time to time, and brakeless if i remember the last time i saw him riding the pool on it.
-
i found a ride mag from 98 and this bike complete was £720...
