Afternoon all, has anybody purchased anything from coloredtuffs.com?
I ordered some gear a couple of weeks ago and I've not heard a thing even after emailing them for an update....I'm not expecting speedy delivery with them being State side but it would be nice to know whats happening.... ::)

I ordered some cranks on the 25th of Feb. He said the 180s I ordered were out of stock and he was having supply problems. Then he said he had got hold of some 175s which I said would be OK. Managed to get a reply on Tuesday after several emails. He said he was away at some races and I would have the cranks within a week but the order is still pending on the website??????????????????? :-\ I did have some Skyways from him without any problems though.

Don't worry mate, I did exactly the same thing. :2funny:
Ed is slow to reply at the moment due to the anniversary T/A f&f on the way. He comes through in the end though.

Got stung with import duty twice though.
How much was the import duty if you dont mind me asking?
-
They make it up as they go >:( They wanted £28 duty on a $10 chainwheel :idiot2:
Probably still in Customs along with mountains of other peoples gear ???
-
yeah they do make it up on the spot, i'm sure of it.
I've bought two pairs of wheels from Coloredtuffs and got stung £30 or so. Some stuff from Ginny, a tenth of the size and weight of the wheels, cost me £28. Frame and forks cost £21. I've even used the 'code' that was mentioned in another thread and it was bugger all use.
Go figure.
