				could be a supergoose

i have a mk3 supergoose with the bigger pro class sized frame tubing
the only diff i can see between them is the weight
cos the Pro Class used thin wall tubing so i understand, they weigh feck all - frame 3lbs 10oz  and forks 1lb 10oz
& also the head tube badge looks like identical to mine as well.

like this one, i took a chance buying mine from ebay that it was a mis badged Pro class - turned out it weren't.

gotta be worth a punt though once rear drops are bent back in ....  ;)

I am thinking on the same lines as Kev. Headtube decal is probably original, if so, Supergoose.

-
Could be, but as Sandro says the head tube decal looks original, which would mean a Supergoose.  Also need to find out where the serial number is, whether on the bottom bracket shell or on the box section behind it.

-
I had spotted this and asked him the question about the serial#. To be honest it looks identical to an 83 Mongoose Expert that I sold in the summer (same dropouts, brake bridge etc). To be sure you probably need to get the frame dimensions

-
look at the state of those fekking dropouts   :'(

-
its not the same as my old pro-class, i dont know how many versions they made though?
good condition with no rust???? is the seller looking at a different bike?? :o
-
Got it in the post this week. Dropouts have straightend out quite well, still need a bit more tweeking ;D
The chrome is good on the frame, not so good on the forks, the nice bonus was the stem that came with it was a pro class one so big smiles all round :)
Its the last goose i wanted to get and ive already got a few bits in stock for this one so im hopeing its not going to break the bank ;D
Thanks to Kev for sending me loads of info on this model.

-
glad it went to a good home jon
and it was a bargin for that money

should look well nice next to your pukka pro class  :)

be interesting to see how the angles etc look side by side
-
the tubes look fatter than my cali of the same age!!!
