Title: Profile crank/chainring trouble - help!
Post by: gregster on May 20, 2007, 06:31 PM
Help needed people...

Purchased a Profile crank set from ebay and a 36T Profile Imperial chainring from trixr4kidz on here.
I've been setting it up today and the hole in the chainring is bigger than the spindle. Now I'm thinking Profile crank/Profile chainring should fit no problems right.

The cranks are a euro bb... does this mean I need an adapter of some sort?

cheers,
greg

Any idea which size?

To be sure you will need to measure the OD of your axle and the inside diameter of the chainring. I think its 19mm axle, just need to measure the hole in the chainring :daumenhoch:

Just had a look at a pic of the bike it came off and I think it was a Primo crank so a 22 - 19mm washer should do it.

Will measure to make sure.
Cheers.

Just trying to buy a top hat washer from Alans and the checkout doesn't work, it pops up with some error about minimum of 5 characters for the password. I've tried numerous combinations and nothing works. So I call them and they can't take an order for less than £5 over the phone.

So does anyone know anywhere else I can get one from online with a website that actually works???

No bike shops nearby stock them.

thanks.
