Title: 3 piece cranks
Post by: Voodoocars on May 28, 2007, 02:45 PM
Are there significant weight differences between forged 3 piece cranks and tubular 3 piece cranks? I've got a forged set and they feel quite heavy (fairly similar to the forged one piece that I am replacing) but I've never lifted a tube set.Are there any crank sets that are good but resonably priced-circa £50-£80 ? The bike isn't going to get used for seriously heavy jumps or street.

Trev  (once again)  is you man.  He has some quality cranksets brand new for your budget.  :)  The modern stuff is lighter I reckon, but is a pleasure to ride also  :daumenhoch:

Cheers for the shout out Rob ;)

I have a couple of sets here.  Both brand new.  Each £80 posted to RAD members.

I have a set of Primo Powerbites - These are 170mm - Comes with a US BB but will fit any type.

I also have a set of Ilegal cranks - These are 175mm - Info about these on their website - http://www.ilegalbmx.com/
