Title: burner headset problem

hi guys i finished my burner porject but when i went to go ride it the forks had loads of play in them. can anyone help??

did you use a db headset from halfrauds?because the bottom race is bigger than the burner one hence lots of slack

i dont think i used a db one  ??? probs though, what do you sugest i do to stop it

whip the forks off and check the fork race to see if its slack on the forks
ideally you should change it but in the meantime you can make a sleeve using coke cans and shim the bottom race to take out the slack

Measure the diameter of the forks where the crown race has to fit.It has to be a pretty acurate measurment so use a micrometer or good calipers.Then give this place a call, they have everything. Chandos Hub and Rim Co. 01279 758718
