Title: skyway restoration
Post by: rakas17 on October 31, 2005, 11:02 PM
word up guys,
can anyone tell me wot you can do about knackered hubs on skyways.. are there replacement parts available cos i could get some nos or new wheels but they all seem to be the plastic hub ones and i prefer the alloy hub ones, so i thinkl i would rather get some second hand alloy hubs but i wasn't sure about makiing them roll sweet..
  cheers bruvers

whats wrong with em? you can get replacement kits, but then youll loose them elegant rivets and have to settle withthem ugly screws....

If they're white you should throw them away as they are flawed. You should throw them in direction of Southport!(http://x11.putfile.com/10/30315390036.gif) (http://www.putfile.com)

Depends what kind of bike you are going to build. i prefer metal hubs, but not all colours had these.
