They look great Rich, what prep work did you have to do before the paint went on?

Dan did a set for me in black nearly two years ago, which went on my new school bike and have been ridden ever since. They still look a treat now. I've lost some colour on the outsides where I've slammed, but nowhere near as much as you might expect.

Reccommended   :daumenhoch:

I'm running Fuzzynods aftermarket alloy endcaps in mine which are taking a fair amount of the slam abuse, they're holding up a treat also   :)

Those DXs look the nuts. :daumenhoch:

How much did Dan charge if I can ask, and where did you source your end caps from?

They look mint Rich.

Paulo - some chap on the site was selling the repop end caps a while ago, but they are not made nor available anymore as Shimano got a bit funny about it all. Shame really, as they were real nice. But there may be a few pairs knocking about if you ask around.

These ones were original DX end caps ,that miracuolsly survived from a member on here , i do have a set of repro ones as well but these are softer plastic and a bit greyer

Dan's quoted about £15 a set, plus my commission, thats £50 to you. Still a bargain as it's still cheaper than a NOS set and look better.  :LolLolLolLol:
