Sorry guys, I was a bit slow tonight.

As the others say, its nothing more than the peg mounts. Pitch-without, Ditch-with. The first dichforks just had a hole drilled in the leg, much like early hoffman forks. Then they moved to the ones with the big mount at the bottom of the leg so it looks like a small peg is welded to the fork leg. I have a feeling that 'Woody Allan Bars' will be posting a great pic of his to this thread any time soon (Ive got the pic but its his so I'll let him do it).

Happy to help when I can

Here's the pic Alex was talking about.

From the left they are early pre-Ditch forks; '92-era Pitch forks (two identical pairs - just different stickers); late 1" Ditchforks (probably '96 as they've got the later sticker which they carried over to the 1 1/8" versions).

The S&M Forks are the least common, especially as Alex also has a pair without holes in the dropout - just goes to demonstrate the random nature of the early stuff Moeller got made.

funny you say that Gogo, W.A.B. asked me about them and I said I have never seen a set with holes in them, but they do look like early s&m forks.

tbh the pair on the left look like an older set with the 92 spec stickers on them.
the ones i had with those stickers defo had no drillings in the dropout.
i can't recall if my mad dog forks had holes in them, im thinking they did...
