Title: Not built one for a while, but here's my rider for Milton of the Keynes.
Post by: oberonspacefruit on June 08, 2007, 08:42 PM
Got a bit lazy of late, what with concentrating on building of the new school riding type bikes, but it seems that I cant just cast off the shackles of ye olde school so here's my rider for the humiliation that will be milton keynes.

I just wanted to say, that due to the incredible prices that old school stuff is reaching these days, that this bike is by no means NOS. Every part on this bike, apart from the race plate has come to me as a tatty shed. so if you see a few flaws, thats why.

Also, i didnt build it to spec, cos to be honest I cant be arsed. It has a flavour of the spec, but what was the point of building yet another ET, they've been done SO well before that there was no way I was gonna try to challenge the standard.

So i did it as I liked it.

You may not.

And I wouldnt blame you.

but for me, its a bit special, and ive had everything I wanted on it. So im a happy bunny.

Time for a bit of riding and spilling and scratching now me thinks. Its an odd thing, wet and dry flatting with 1200's for 5 hours knowing that the gouges that will ensue, will put pay to your efforts in 5 seconds.

Ah well.

Lovely ride that Mr Fruit.

I like that a lot! Kuwies have always been my favourite bikes and that just looks the nuts!! :smitten: :4_17_5:

It's one of the best looking bikes I've seen for ages.

I know I'll be revisiting this post a fair few times for another look.

Cheers

when I read "ET" I thought I knew what was coming, but that took me off guard. The black and white frame and black tuffs look wicked. Nice one.
