I KNOW BRAINTREE HAVE CHANGED THE FIRST STRAIGHT BUT DOES ANY ONE KNOW IF ITS FINISHED?I CAN'T SEEM TO GET ON THERE WEBSITE.WOULDN'T MIND GOING TO THERE SUMMER SERIES RACES ON WEDNESDAY. :daumenhoch:
-
I've e-mailed Julie Watts to ask and will post up reply as soon as received. Humps
PS: Found this on Talk from Brad "the first 2 jumps are very well jump able. i jumped the first one but landed on top but the second is easy. Just everyone b careful that you can not ride over the last berm on to the table top that was in the first corner as i found out yesterday and may have broken a bone in my foot. Its a shear drop peeps!!! everything is finished off now drainage pipe went in last thing yesterday so the first straight and berm is nice and smooth. The speed hump at the end of the tarmac is going to give you more than enough speed needed to jump the jumps. Getting it smooth is incredibly fast!!!"

Looking forward to returning to Braintree, its a great track and reminds me of tracks bitd, hope the "improvements" havent killed the feel of it :daumenhoch:
-
Could well be up for this, i'll check my calender :daumenhoch:
-
Any news Humps?
I'll be up for it if they are racing tomorrow.
-
I am going down there tomorrow, I think Flaz will be as well. Hopefully Jim will get out of work early and also make it
-
I gotta go to hospital in Chelmsford from 3 to about 4.30 so hope to get there around 5ish.
Anyone else? (And is it old or new? I fancy bringing out the old free agent!)
-
You can ride what ever you like Roonga. I just copied the following from the Braintree website
Breaking News. The first strait of the track has been changed. We now have a nice speed bump and the bottom of the start hill leading in to 2 big 25 and 15 foot doubles leading into a newly formed first berm. Its looking excellent. Please be aware it’s still a little fresh and needs riding in.
Sounds like Braintree just got a set of Himalayas :LolLolLolLol:
-
WE CAN JUST ENTER A NEW SCHOOL RACE :4_17_5:I'M UP FOR IT MAYBE A 19+ OR 30+ LETS AVE IT. :LolLolLolLol:

Watch the thread on BMX Talk as Jools Allen has reported it's crumbling badly and is very soft and reckons they shouldn't race on it. Unfortunately no-one from the Club has got back to me so might be worth ringing the Watts family for an update on 01376 346523 before travelling. Humps

I only realised who it was as we were leaving, and the heavens were just about to burst so we got out of there pretty quick. He seems to know Tony Slater so you may be able to contact him through Tony.
I didn't get any photos so you lot will have to wait for the BIG surprise waiting for you on the 24th.
