Title: Skyway streetbeat forks ?

Just had a question off a guy about streetbeat forks ,he says they are stamped ?

I have a 85 green streetbeat which i bought when ebay was flooed with them and the forks arnt stamped !

Should they be ?

I had a Green Streetbeat & don't remember any stamps on the forks  :-\

I have a Street Beat and a Street Styler here in my room and neither of those forks are stamped.

some forks was stamped like the se ones
as a bloke in sarf end has 2 beats
and one set was stamped

some had skyway round where the axle fits.
might mean that.

nope these was stamped on the bottom of the fork
like landing gears

no i know the ones you mean big rhys.
they were off the latter beats.
87 i think with the funny shapped drop outs.
both mine had skyway by the knurling on the drop outs

Yep Daves right....the MKII's with the two tone paint jobs were stamped, the white and green, white and red, grey and lavenda and so on  :daumenhoch:

I have a mkII street beat.  blue & grey.  i can't see anything stamped on these forks.  :(

The forks changed around late '86 early '87 so the first two-tones came with the non-stamped forks and the later ones with the stamped forks

The forks changed around late '86 early '87 so the first two-tones came with the non-stamped forks and the later ones with the stamped forks

actually, i do remember my old skyways being stamped like that...

They're very rare in white.

Bought those off a fellow member for, what I thought at the time, a small fortune. As it turns out it wasn't a bad price.

I've now sold them to a fellow collector for what I consider to be a bargain (given the current market).

They're the same as Panaracers. Skyway sold them in white, grey and baby blue
