Hi all, ive read the info on dying white seats different colours, but can you dye a coloured seat white? Im guessing no?

You could dye it black instead ... here's one I've done recently :daumenhoch:

you can paint them,i did this in 2 pac,but make sure you use a plasti flex primer :daumenhoch:

degrease the seat really well
then don't touch it with your fingers!!
spray on the plastic primer
then some 2k primer
then some 2k white acrylic
then stick it somewhere warm for a few days to bake it on good. in the airing cupboard!

;D i can understand if it's a rare seat that's like rocking horse poo to get in any colour?? or if you require a custom job like the silver one.
But if it's a bog standard seat in white? sell the lavendar (or keep for another build) and buy a white one?? :daumenhoch:

This dyeing lark is not as easy as you think
I tried to dye a white seat red ... i ended up with a lovely orange seat no matter how many times i tired

my mate runs a body shop
he has plastisizer, etch primer, hi-build, and racks of 1k base and 2k cryl in many colours. all at my disposal
