HiYa FR
Looks great with the blue and chrome.
Who built it, what year, and model?
Not seen another like that before.
Loving the angles of the bars too - they look real quality.

Another top build!
Just enough blue used in the parts!
Perfect!
When you gonna build a not chrome bike ;D

Bien bien bien....

a french MRD racer had it in 1986 the number under the BB is 25 001 and under 000537
the bars and the seatpost are MRD

only chrome ;)

That is truly superb :)
One of the later badged MRDs... The bars are the same as Star Bars... Tis my belief that when Tims was in the US and GT nicked Tims design for the curved downtube for their Performer.... Greg Hill also nicked his design for bars.... Just my opinion ::) ;D

Hi FR
Thanks for the info. This must be the bike we talked about ages ago. Were they only for the French market? The rear drop-outs are quite different, and no longer have the triangle, what about the forks (are they much different?)
It does not look as big as a Pro (what with its lower cross bar), how do they ride? What's the length in comparison?
Any idea who made them? It still has the same serial code as the others though. Wonder why they changed the drop-outs? I don't think I've heard of MRD's getting broken so strange to change such a distinct feature.

We meat again, David :daumenhoch:
Is that your new CULT ride ;D
-
Awsome! :4_17_5: quality my friend :daumenhoch:
-
That looks the dogs dangley bits.
The bars are a weird shape to fit a head through ;D
Now bring it OS Racing, you know you wanna.
-
eh eh i made an extra pair of wheels just to ride it, so maybe you will see it on OS racing ::)
-
Superb build, lovely job very very nice. Never seen stickers like that before. But I'm not french :LolLolLolLol:.
Are they early or late March pads?
-
That is Rickman Racing F&F as sold in the UK , very cool , must have been marketed in france by March, any ideas on date on frame? Rickman engineering also made MRD parts.
