Title: Can you dye brake cable outers?, i want to change colour.
Post by: 2020mad on June 28, 2007, 12:57 PM: Hi i have a skyway spinmaster set-up with white cables. i want to change these to black will they dye ? or does any one know how i could do this without them looking crap as i can't get black cables for this. thanks.

plastic and rubber doesnt go so well.

get some coloured shrink wrap.

coloured shrink wrap would do. any idea where to start looking . maplins?, b&q ?

yep bought another beat monday eve, my other beat won't be ready for MK so am building something a bit different to bring along, white cables will not go unfortunatly, may have to fit a spinmaster2 instead. :'(

the spinmaster giro has loads of short cables with funny non standard shape ends on both ends of the cables to make it work, it will probley be cack and won't work when i fit it anyway.
