Seen a few pics of Haros with a silver BB cup. I have modern flights but the cups are black. The silver ones look much smarter.
Has anyone seen silver cups that are available to buy separately? Or failing that a complete set of modern (2 pinch bolt) Flights with the silver cups. Thanks

The later Redline cups are anodised ... use oven cleaner or caustic soda to strip and then polish :daumenhoch:

Great, thanks for the tips. I have used caustic soda on other parts so I know it work really well. :daumenhoch:
Thanks looks like a cool Sport resto. Is it in the museum, so I can look at full pics?

That Sport is awesome nothing there I would change.
I am going to re-build my Master as the original spec of complete Haro bikes from BITD
This site has been helpful for doing this:

With regards to using caustic soda, would the water not get into the bearings? I know they are sealed but sure some water must get in.

Knock the bearings out of the cups before dropping them in the caustic :daumenhoch:
