hi i am removeing old stickers from my frame and forks but after removing the stickers, whats the best way to remove the sticky left? on a white frame, advice would be very helpful, all the best gary

Try lighter fluid. Squirt on, leave for a few seconds and wipe off. Try a test area first to check it doesn't muck up the paint job and don't have a fag whilst your trying it! :LolLolLolLol:

nail varnish remover....( acatone free)..not to sure how you spell that ..lol.....

Avoid any solvent that could potentially ruin your paintwork ... white spirit works well :daumenhoch:

BRASO- brass cleaner works great..... used it for years and has never affected any paint jobs :daumenhoch:

The best thing is 'sticky stuff remover' in an aerosol can.You can buy it at wilco for about 2.99 make sure you get the gell type so that it doesn't just run off the suface.Spray on,leave for 10 min then run the stuff with your finger then wipe off with a rag.Hey presto!

Believe it or not baby oil is top for this and does not harm your paint. :daumenhoch: Soot.

I use stuff called 'Panel Wipe', you can buy it from any specialist paint company. Top notch for taking all the shit out of ya car paint too , like bird crap, grit and flies. :daumenhoch:
