Title: At last my first build done
Post by: Frosty on November 06, 2005, 11:23 PM
I given up waiting on the IRC tyres before posting, so here is the complete KZ83 Laserlite. The frame is what started the whole os things for me ohh and is an enjoyable drain on resources (well for me anyway, the missus not quite so sure).

I can't begin to list where all the parts are from, but suffice to say I think the only continent that I haven't had parts sent from is Africa!!!

Only 22 years later have I managed to get the bike (cycle I mean) I dreamt about as a nipper!!

Cheers

Paul

That does look very nice, I don't think you can get a better colour combo than Chrome and Black. Well Done.

Ignore the others...the cranks look rubbish mate. As I'm kind I'll swap 'em for a nice Sugino one piece crank...oh, and I'll take those horrid pedals off you too.  ;) ;D

Yep, that is one nice bike. I think that Biagio has the correct decals for the flight cranks if you're looking for some. Sorry, that's a bit anal of me.

Thanks all for the comments again - very kind.

Next up is the Redline to be built I'm nearly there on parts, just need a fluted straight cro-mo seat post (Neil you pipped me to it!!).

Lawrie, I have the crank arm decals, but for the oem Kuwi build they did not carry the decals with a competitors name on them. The decals will be used on other applications as and when I can build them up.

Regards

Paul
