Title: anodising?
Post by: thesku11s on July 04, 2007, 11:57 PM

Hello,

was wondering about anodising....

Is custom anodising you get done in a small workshop different to the blue/red anodising you get on a poundshop flashlight?

can you get the matt black finsh you find on some wheel rims and stuff like that, and is it more hard wearing than the aforementioned poundshop sort?

Its a aluminium maglite copy torch you get for £1.

them and other bits of tat like valve caps & keyrings are often anodised red or blue.

was wondering if expensive custom anodising is any better quality.
